Risk Intelligence
for Emergency Management

A risk layer to support your team on top of your current systems. We use advanced weather prediction models to support emergency management decisions.

Predictive risk layer connecting data

DreadNot delivers advanced prediction model reports to emergency management and stakeholder teams. Built to sit alongside, or integrate directly with, existing emergency management platforms, DreadNot brings together the data needed for a holistic picture before the storm hits.

Built on data from federal agencies and private companies

Designed to update continuously as new information comes in

Designed to scale from a single community to a full region

See the cost,
not just the storm

DreadNot pairs hazard and financial impact tracking with a risk layer built on historical data, so your team sees potential cost and exposure alongside the threat itself, not as a separate step after the fact.

Financial impact estimates drawn from comparable past events

Community exposure indicators layered onto every report

Holistic reports delivered to inform real decisions

DreadNot Community

DreadNot Community extends DreadNot's risk intelligence directly to the people your jurisdiction serves. Residents and businesses opt in to a connected platform your team controls, so once they're signed up, updates on what's happening and when to act come straight from you, not from a patchwork of alerts and word of mouth.

Businesses and residents can opt in to the community, with alerts sent directly by your team

Designed to send your team incident and needs reports from the community

Built-in education and resources tools residents can access anytime

Custom pricing

Scaled to your jurisdiction's size, risk profile, and budget.

Built on the pairing, not just the data

Bring hazard, financial, and infrastructure data from every source you rely on into one continuously updated report, so your team stops piecing it together by hand.

Built to fit your existing systems

DreadNot is designed to sit alongside your current emergency management platforms, or integrate directly with them, so adopting DreadNot doesn't mean replacing what already works.

FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most, from emergency management agencies, nonprofits, and corporations building out their resiliency planning.

Does DreadNot replace our current emergency management platform?

No. DreadNot is built to work alongside the systems your team already relies on, or to integrate directly with them, adding a risk layer rather than requiring a switch.

Who do you work with?

DreadNot works with the people accountable when disaster hits: Emergency Management Directors and Deputy Directors at regional offices, State Hazard Mitigation Officers, Chiefs of Resilience and Chief Risk Officers at municipal and investor-owned utilities, and program managers at federal and defense agencies. Built to scale from a single jurisdiction to a full region, and to fit alongside the systems these teams already run.

Why Our Team?

DreadNot is built by people who've done this work under pressure, not from the outside looking in. Our founder is a former Merchant Marine with firsthand experience of how ocean conditions, commerce, and coastal survival intersect, and brings nearly a decade of experience as a UX designer and digital strategist building tools communities actually use.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as National Volunteer Coordinator and Lead User Researcher for a foundation supporting hospitals and first responders, the direct origin of DreadNot's focus on emergency preparedness infrastructure. That operational background is paired with a technical modeling partnership purpose-built for predictive risk analysis, and every data source we run on, federal, state, and public, was chosen because it's the same data emergency managers already trust.

Who are you looking to do pilot partnerships with?

We're prioritizing regional emergency management offices, state hazard mitigation offices, and municipal or investor-owned utilities looking to add a risk layer without replacing what they already run. We're also open to nonprofits and corporations building out resiliency planning where our data and modeling can make a real difference. If your team is responsible for a jurisdiction, region, or community and wants earlier intelligence before the next event,
we want to talk.

Who are you looking to do collaborations or research partnerships with?

We're looking to work with universities and research institutions doing seismic, oceanographic, and climate science that strengthens the models behind DreadNot, along with agencies like USGS and regional seismic networks where data sharing and validation studies benefit both sides. We're also open to partnering with organizations building complementary predictive or modeling technology where a collaboration could sharpen what DreadNot delivers. If your work sits at the intersection of hazard science and community impact, we want to hear from you.
